THE GATHERING Nominated For Two NIGHTLIVEXS Awards

December 19, 2006

THE GATHERING drummer Hans Rutten has posted the following message on the band's MySpace page:

"THE GATHERING is nominated for Best Live Act 2006 as well as Best Album 2006. The NightLiveXS Awards are quite big awards in the Netherlands and could bring lots of attention on the band if they win one of them. You can cast your vote between December 21st 2006 and January 10th 2007 via www.nightlivexs.com. Make sure you show your support to the band, so those nominations become real awards!"

The NightLiveXS Awards ceremony will be held on February 11 at the Paradiso in Amsterdam, Holland.

As previously reported, a video clip of THE GATHERING performing the song "Waking Hours" at the Paradiso in Amsterdam, Holland on September 19, 2006 has been posted online at Google Video. The complete live show is still available for streaming at Fabchannel.com.

THE GATHERING released its latest album, "Home", in April on The End Records.
